This is my journey to build an Vans RV14 from plans. With the exception that I have later decided to order the RV14 Quick Build Wing. Building mostly alone I was worried about riveting well do to the large size of the wings.
Getting into the fun stuf!! Putting gas in for the first time.
Have the airplane up to get 15 degrees pitch for min fuel testing on T/O
The unusable fuel is basically nothing 133grams and 134 grams for the left and right side. Fuel flow on the boost pump was 44.4GPH double what we needed of 22GPH.
Matt is a crazy man and basically squated the airplane on and off the ramps.
Got the wing tips on this day so had to test them out!
Prepping for first engine run. Found a bad solder on the Oil Pressure and a wire I didn't connect on the started ground.
Oil change is done and filter is on, last inspection of FWF is completed.
Looking good!
