Section 53 ELT

 RV14 Build August 21

Purchased the ELT kit from Vans. Registered it with NOAA.

The install was relatively straight forward. Instead of riveting the beeper to the VS I attached it to the top of the ELT with hook and loop velcro and a zip tie for good measure. The cable was about 12" short to reach the location in the panel I had planned so moving the beeper here allowed for a shorter wire run.

There isn't much material on the faceplate but I did countersink it just because I liked the way it looks. Hopefully it doesn't crack in time.
