Section 11 Empennage Fairings

 RV14 Build August & September 21

I dont know why but I really didn't ant to work on this. I think the composite is not my favorite. Locating the holes to match drill after a first rough cut trim.

Used tape and a line to match the ruler on and a mark at 2" to hole center to transfer that onto the fairing.

The front of the fairing didn't fit well so I cut it off and laid up new glass

Close up of the glass. Didnt get pictures but then I countersunk the holes and final trimmed to fit.
